Terms & Conditions

By making a purchase with us online, over the phone, or via email, you accept the following terms and conditions:

PAYMENT

We currently accept payments via BACS (bank transfer) or Credit/Debit card. When paying online by card, you will be redirected to Stripe through Shopify Payments to enter your billing and card details. Once approved, your account will be debited accordingly. We accept most major credit and debit cards, and all transactions are securely processed through Stripe via Shopify Payments. We do not store any sensitive payment details on our servers.

DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch in-stock products within 24 hours of payment, and deliveries typically take 1-3 business days. If the item is in stock and the order is placed and confirmed before our dispatch cutoff time (1pm), it should arrive the next day. However, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by courier services. Tracking numbers will be provided for most shipments, though in cases where goods are shipped directly from suppliers, there may be a delay in receiving tracking information. If your product has shipped, you will receive an email notification.

Some products may have longer delivery times or be custom-made. We will contact you regarding delivery/lead times for these items. Any lead times are determined by the manufacturer.

In the unlikely event that your order does not arrive, please get in touch with our sales team within 7-days of the expected delivery date, and we will assist in tracking your order.

Certain items may require assistance for loading/unloading (such as a forklift or pallet truck) if they exceed 30kg in weight. Please contact our office for guidance on what may be required for your order. Approximate weights are usually available on our website, although in some cases, this information may not be provided. Re-delivery charges due to customer-related issues (e.g., no one at the delivery address) will be the responsibility of the customer.

OUT-OF-STOCK ORDERS

If an item you order is out of stock, we will process your order and notify you of the stock issue. We will offer alternatives or provide the option to cancel. We will also inform you of an estimated restock date for the item(s). For more accurate lead times, please contact our office.

CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations for dispatched orders or made-to-order items will be subject to usual restocking fees.

Custom-built or made-to-order products may carry a cancellation fee up to 50%. If the item is fully manufactured and cancellation is no longer possible, we may charge 100% of the cost and continue with delivery.

RETURNS

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase.

  • All returns must be authorized by us, and a Returns Authorization Code will be provided. Please contact us for this code. Unless the item is faulty, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

  • Returns are subject to a handling fee between 15% and 50% of the original product price (excluding shipping). The fee varies depending on the product type, and made-to-order items are subject to different conditions.

  • Customer built/bespoke/long lead items may incur a return/restocking fee up to 100%. Please call us as soon as possible to discuss.  Where we can amend your order with the manufacturer, we will endeavour to help.

  • Products returned for an exchange with a price difference will either result in a refund for the price difference (minus the handling fee) or an additional charge if the new product costs more.

  • Items must be unused, unmarked, and in their original packaging to be eligible for return.

  • We are unable to accept returns of "used" products or those that have been removed from their original packaging. If we believe an item has been used, we will assess its condition and may consult the manufacturer before proceeding with a return. For further details, contact us directly.

  • Spare parts have a 50% return/restocking fee.

  • Lifting slings made to order cannot be exchanged or returned if ordered incorrectly by the customer, although we will replace them if an error on our part occurs.

TAX

All UK customers will be charged 20% VAT on goods and shipping. EU customers may qualify for VAT exemption with a valid European VAT number. Exports outside the EU are VAT-exempt.

CARD SECURITY

We process all payments securely through Stripe by Shopify.

We strive to ensure our product descriptions are accurate and up-to-date, errors and omissions may occur – please confirm product details as required. 

TRI Industrial Services Ltd cannot be held responsible for incorrect orders placed by customers. Prices and descriptions are subject to change without prior notice.

We are not liable for ensuring the safe use of the products we supply—this responsibility falls on the user. Customers must ensure they are purchasing the correct specifications and duty cycle ratings for their needs. We recommend that only trained, competent individuals use our equipment, and our product descriptions may not cover improper uses or the consequences of misuse. Some products may require installation or testing by qualified professionals.

We continuously update our products, prices, and offers, but errors may occur. If an error is found in the sale of goods, we will notify you promptly and aim to resolve the issue. If a fair resolution is not possible, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment made.

If any product fails to perform as expected, please send it to us (by arrangement) for inspection. If a warranty claim is accepted, we will repair and return the item as quickly as possible. For non-warranty items, we will provide a written quotation for repairs. We are not responsible for any loss of business resulting from product failure. Some items carry extended manufacturer warranties, which are separate from our own guarantee, intended to offer additional peace of mind.

All relevant English Law will also apply.
